We are experiencing a leap in AI capabilities. In the past 10 years AI has surpassed human-level performance in image recognition, reading comprehension and language understanding. At this pace, AI will likely outperform humans in most knowledge-based tasks within the next decade.

But there’s a gap between what AI can do and how it’s being used. Most job types are yet to significantly use AI. Software developers are an exception — they account for just 3.4% of the U.S. workforce yet generate 27% of Claude conversations.
That gap is why I’m committing the next phase of my career to the implementation of AI.
